You taught me so many things in such a short period of our unity. I found you engraved in everything I wrote, even after you were gone.

You taught me that love is powerful and sparks make huge blue flames. And I say blue because it burns hotter than normal but you still leave me feeling the emptiest. Going to bed at 3am was a privilege I cherished because the last thing I heard was your voice which was the perfect lullaby.The sight of you always set my heart aflame. I learned you could feel so much so fast and it's the things we love the most that have the capability to destroy us.We were a galaxy at risk of a supernova.

I learned that love and hope commune together on Sunday's and together.. I wish we'd stayed together.

You taught me that missing someone can come in waves that either threaten to drown you or leave you with hickeys left by death.You taught me that being replaced was like losing baby teeth, parts of you deemed so important. You taught me that love just like suffering doesn't last forever, and that is both a blessing and a curse. You taught me that some people are perfect and some people are a perfect tragedy. I don't know which one we were but I know our love was something to be cautious around.

You taught me that infatuation and love lived in two different hemispheres and that our ending was inevitable.

I'm able to think with a clearer head now. What I felt for you was clouding my better judgement. We're better off now than we ever were together, and I come to believe that more and more each day.My existence ventures far beyond the planet that was you.
